The most important military terms in German:
Let’s go. - Sprung auf. Marsch. Marsch.
Move soldier. – Bewegung Soldat
This is an order. - Das ist ein Befehl.
Get cover. – In Deckung.
Follow me. – Alle man mir folgen.
Throw a grenade - eine Handgranate werfen
Open fire. - Feuer frei.
Cease fire. - Feuer einstellen.
Aim well. - Sauber draufhalten
Attack. – Angriff
Line of fire - Die Schußlinie
Cover the left/ right flank. – Sicher die linke/ rechte Flanke.
I need ammunition. – Ich brauche Munition.
Hands up. – Hände hoch.
Retreat – Rückzug
medic - Sanitäter
sniper - Scharfschütze
Company. – Kompanie
Platoon – Zug
Squad – Gruppe
British soldier – Tommy
Russian soldier – Iwan
American soldier – Jerry
