This list is for beginners, and all the things that you should do which will help you fit into the forum better.
Do's
Change your display to your character name. This can be done through the profile option at the top of the screen.
Many divisions have small symbols that their members place at the start of their names. These require a code. PM a member to find out what the code is and follow suit.
Use proper spelling and grammar. This point can’t be stressed enough. If you are sloppy, people will not have a high opinion of you. Just taking a few seconds here and there can really make a difference.
Make your posts the proper length. There is a minimum limit of 15 lines for an RP post. That works out close to 200 words. This isn't strictly enforced, but you will receive less CP at the end of the thread.
Try to get along with people. We understand that we can't all live in harmony (this a war based RPG after all), but if you get into an argument with someone, it's usually us staff who have to pick up the pieces.
Don'ts
Don’t over use smilies. They look good when used in moderation, but you spoil a post if you use too many.
Please don't make spam threads. These are threads that really serve no use, and if you can see it disappearing in a few days time, don't waste time making it. Post counts mean little on here.
Don't constantly ask staff members to Mod-mark your threads for you. There is a thread in the character development area and it should be used.
Don't complain to staff members about how your thread was marked.
