Ok I'm starting this battle. As Rhys did'nt show where they were i'm gonna take it that the top floor of the building has windows at shoulder height of anyoe in there all around the walls.
Take it that the windows are positioned around the upper floor roughly where the windows and doors are positioned on the lower floor. You have four on each side.

How about this, DBev, sorry but Rhys and Dan are right about the sniper, Rhys don't bring any men, you can use the four I'm bringing, free of charge, DBev I swear, you swear at another staff member, be it if he was joking or not, I'm gonna slam you with a nice warning, this is open to the public remember. Also enjoy this battle, may it last for ten pages, as long as I can help it I'm not battling for a while afterward, this is rediculous.

Well the big thing with it is that fact that there are so many aspects that have to be agreed upon before a battle starts as there have been complications with starting positions, reinforcements, mines, and the occasional, "I can't compete with that..." that tend to throw a snag in the process, but we are working to refine it a bit.

Yeah I understand that, but it seems so long winded sometimes. It's not always about quantity of the fight, but quality of the fight. Have the staff ever considered making battles a strict Moderator Start basis? So obviously only the staff can start the battles, but having the staff call all the shots might stop a lot of problems.
Members could possibly still make their own battles, but there could be more battles started by staff members, rather than the members themselves. So there is no complications, just a strict "2 vs 2 / 30 NPCs either side" the end. Might mean more work, but maybe a few of these random battles started by the staff could help out a lot and give people like myself and you the chance to role play more often. If I started a battle, I wouldn't be able to use my tanks or the excess of my manpower without an enemy party having the exact same strength. Unless I belittled my forces drastically to a few men, which seems highly unrealistic for a Major of the ranks to do. Have you ever seen a Major go into battle with a squad of men before?
Maybe these random battles could give the big boys a few battles to partake in now and again, as well as other members. Not the place for suggestions I know, but it seems worthwhile mentioning it here. - Raf

That is a lovely idea, I see no problems with it, if some of the staff don't want to then I don't see why they have to, but I think I'll start one up here and there of the sorts, don't see any issues as long os people are willing to partake.

Sorry staff. Anyway I dont want to turn this into a suggestion thread but does anyone think that chosing NPCs on each teams could be done by giving a cp limit to each side. So each team would say only be aloud 200cp and weapons and certs would come into it to.

Not a bad idea either DBev, that would keep things fair and interesting all the same, make members have to think a bit about what they will be using to complete a mission, this will definately be in my mind for my next battle, nice work.
